Quilt Care

WASH

Hand or machine wash with COLD water & MILD detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. For the first wash, throw in a couple of Shout Color Catchers or Retayne. Color catchers literally catch the dye that has bled into the wash water. Retayne is a chemical that helps lock dye into the fabric.

Before using, read the instructions.

DRY

Tumble dry on LOW heat or AIR dry.

To be safe, don't dry it all the way. Tumble dry on low until it is damp, and then lay flat to air dry.

Do not use dryer sheets. Do not dry clean.

STORE

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Roll your quilt, but if you have to fold it, remember to refold it every few months. Store in a cloth storage bag, never in a plastic bag.
